The Northwest Chapter of ARLIS/NA is currently inviting applications for our 2018 Travel Award. The recipient of this award will receive $500 to help cover registration and travel expenses to support attendance at the annual ARLIS/NA conference in New York City ( Feb 25 – Mar 1, 2018).
Applications must include a personal statement of financial need and how receiving this award would benefit your professional development.
Please note: Applicants must be current members of ARLIS/NA-NW *and* ARLIS/NA and live in the Northwest region (Alaska – Alberta – British Columbia – Idaho – Oregon – Washington – Yukon Territory).
Award winners must submit a report to the ARLIS/NA Northwest Executive Committee summarizing conference activities and experiences for Chapter communications and are encouraged to stay professionally active with the local chapter.
Applications are due by Monday, November 20, 2017.
